Judgment Will Increase

This is not a fire and brimstone warning from an angry, legalistic preacher. In fact, I feel more sadness and grief than anything else.
Perhaps I feel what Jesus felt as He wept for Jerusalem while announcing its judgment. I am not hoping for judgment; I am saying it is inevitable. I don't know where the unbiblical belief comes from that says a nation can live any way it pleases, can reject God and His ways-even mock Him-and not receive His judgments. Nor do I know when the belief came that it is always mean-spirited or judgmental to warn of these things. To the contrary, I believe it is our responsibility.

In warning of judgment, I am not suggesting that God is going to intentially and directly hurt people. Much judgment is simply the absence of God's protection and provision, caused by a rejection of His laws and ways. We have been experiencing some forms of judgment in America for years, but God in His incredible patience and mercy has kept us from the level we've deserved. I believe this will change to a degree and judgment will now
increase:
For those in the Church who aligned themselves with pro-abortion forces, I believe judgment will result.
For leaders in the Body of Christ who refused to take a stand for fear of losing people, money, and tax-exempt status-I believe there will be a degree of judgment.
For those, both within the Church and without, who voted money over morality-a potential raise or better health insurance over the life of a baby-there will be judgment. (The irony is that this decision to base one's vote on the hopes of a better economy won't produce the hoped for result anyway. The scriptures teach that it is righteousness which exalts a nation and that the nation is blessed whose God is the Lord.)

I have heard the argument that God cares as much about social justice issues (such as poverty and racism) as He does abortion, making a vote for Obama OK. I certainly believe God puts a very high priority on caring for the poor and I, too, have wanted to see equality demonstrated through a "minority" president. But to equate having a better income or the desire for a first black president, regardless of his positions on abortion and morality, to the issue of killing 50 million babies is not justice-it is a gross distortion of justice and great deception. I fear that we have been desensitized to this issue of abortion. I believe it kills babies and takes innocent life. I also believe it is blood sacrifice that empowers demons. Let's not forget this in our noble attempts to be kind and conciliatory.

For African Americans I can easily see how it could bring healing to have a first black president, just as it would be for Native Americans to achieve this or for women if a woman were elected president. Again, I have wanted to see justice in this way. I am only saddened that the price for this healing ended up being Barak Obama, a man that will set the cause of life and, most-likely, our God-given destiny as a nation back so drastically. (I also realize there are some who interpret any criticism of Obama as racism. Racism is so NOT what I am about nor what I live, that I will not even dignify any such accusations with a response.)

What Can We Expect?

What are some of the judgments we can expect on our nation from this election?

More economic woes
More violence in an already violent nation
Disease and death (satan, who is responsible for these things will have greater inroads to our nation.)
Natural disasters (weather-tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, drought; fires; earthquakes; etc.)
Terrorism (they will fear us much less now)
War, perhaps on our own soil
Judgments relating to the Court. The stacking of the Supreme Court against the sanctity of life and God's influence on America will occur, which will in turn cause the shedding of more innocent blood, more rejection of God's laws and the stealing from us of our godly heritage-all of which will perpetuate a cycle of even more judgment.

How Did This Happen?

I've been asked if this could have been averted had there been more prayer. I'm not sure. I believe there was a remnant of Christians fervently praying over these elections-I don't think there was anything more they could have done. Others, obviously, should have done more. The complacency and lack of discernment concerning our real condition in America-especially by the Church-is both appalling and horrifying. America is in serious trouble and it seems no one wants to say it. Fewer still are willing to do anything to change it.

Though I understand our reasons, we must be careful in our attempts to placate our feelings and calm our fears through religious phrases like "God is still on the throne" or "God has a plan". He was on His throne 35 years and 50 million babies ago. And He had a plan back then. The problem is, it was us. I understand our reasons for waving high the banner of God's sovereignty at times like these-it gives us hope. I will wave it, as well.

But please be careful with this. Too much emphasis on God's sovereignty and we're worthless; too little and we're hopeless. Maybe we should say, "we lost a critical battle but God will give us strategy to win the war." Then find the strategy.

But still yet, since God is usually willing to work through a remnant, I thought we had enough prayer. Obviously, God decided otherwise. There comes a time when He will not forgive or bless the majority based on the prayers or actions of only a few. America rejected God and asked for a king; I believe we now have our Saul (see 1 Samuel 8:5-7)-a man who does not have God's heart for America but his own. Like Israel in scripture, our nation believes it can turn from God and still be blessed. In His mercy and justice He will show us otherwise.

Like many, believing I had many promises and confirmations that God would "grace" us with a pro-life president in this election, I failed to consider strongly enough that all promises-even scripture-are conditional 99.9% of the time. Though I never prophesied or made guarantees that McCain-Palin would win, failing to factor this principle in strongly enough no doubt caused me to share my optimism with others inappropriately. If this caused any harm or confusion, I apologize.

Has the fact that my prayers weren't answered shaken my faith? No. I'm a little confused and discouraged. I'm also somewhat angry at the nation in general and much of the Church. Mostly I'm grieving over the nation and what this will cost us. I am not, however, angry with God and do not question His justice. And it is not true that we wasted our time, energy and money in our efforts anymore than it is a waste when we share the gospel with people who don't get saved. We must keep in the forefront of our thinking the fact that ultimately we are doing this for Him and that He will reward us for our faithfulness. And who knows, perhaps He will store up all those prayers for the next battle (Revelation 5:8, 8:3-5).

A friend and fellow warrior said it well,

"We did 'give it our all.' I know the Lord was pleased with that. A coach wants to know one thing at the end of a heartbreaking sports loss: 'Did you leave it all on the field?' (your passion, your commitment, your strength, your courage, etc.) I know that we 'left it all on the field.' We didn't hold anything back until the game ended. Tragically, it ended in defeat. We will rise for another day because Jesus is worthy."

Where Do We Go from Here?

Does this election outcome shake my faith that we can see a great awakening and ultimately reformation in America? Absolutely not (and it strengthens my resolve). We will simply get there through greater pain and loss. Even my passion to see the Supreme Court shift is not from a presupposition that there can be no spiritual awakening without it. It is simply due to my deep conviction that their decisions bring so much death, destruction, curses and judgment to America; and because our full destiny as a nation is unquestionably linked to their decisions. So, yes, we will get an awakening and reformation; but the reality is that this reformation of the nation will reform the Supreme Court (and government, in general), not vice-versa. My faith has never been in people or a political party; my faith is in the God who works through them.

I've been asked if my feelings about Sarah Palin have changed. They have not. I believe she is an Esther, a Deborah, with a huge mantle from God for reformation. God has a great destiny for her related to this nation if she chooses to continue down this path.

So, in conclusion, we must re-group as an apostolic, praying church and advance. We must maintain an immovable faith in God, His plans for America and His mercy. And we must move beyond simply asking God for a spiritual awakening and ask Him for strategy to produce reformation, as well. I, for one, am just getting started!

George Washington's Vision of America's Future

Editor's Note: I have not found the original newspaper accounts of this alleged story ( can someone find them?), but this prophetic vision rings true to me--especially if you compare it to David Wilkerson’s, The Vision, written in the 1970's--- and most of it has come true already. I think there is something here that God may be saying America about its future.

GENERAL GEORGE WASHINGTON'S ANGELIC VISITATION
AT VALLEY FORGE AND
THE VISION OF THE FUTURE OF THE UNITED STATES

This article is a reprint of a newspaper article first published in the NATIONAL TRIBUNE in 1859 and reprinted in 1880 (vol. 4, no. 12, Dec. 1880). Later reprinted in THE STARS AND STRIPES newspaper owned by the NATIONAL TRIBUNE, in 1931 and the latest printing on December 21, 1950. This article is printed in its entirety by permission of the NATIONAL TRIBUNE. The vision was related to a reporter named Wesley Bradshaw by an officer who served under General Washington at Valley Forge, named Anthony Sherman. In the vision, Washington sees three great trials to overtake the Union. These were the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the greatest threat, a war fought on the soil of the United States near the time of Jesus' return to reign on the earth. It is this third battle, that hold's our interest as the day draws near.

Washington Had Vision of Trials Facing Nation

For many years copies of Washington's vision at Valley Forge as related by one Wesley Bradshaw, told to him by Anthony Sherman, have been in existence. The earliest publication was in 1859, 1880, in 1931 and is being printed once more. THE STARS AND STRIPES, December 21, 1950.

The last time I ever saw Anthony Sherman was on the Fourth of July, 1859, in Independence Square. He was then ninety-nine years old, and becoming very feeble. But though so old, his dimming eyes rekindled as he gazed upon Independence Hall, which he came to visit once more. "Let us go into the hall," he said. "I want to tell you of an incident of Washington's life -- one which no one alive knows of except myself; and if you live, you will before long see it verified.

"From the opening of the Revolution we experienced all phases of fortune, now good and now ill, one time victorious and another conquered. The darkest period we had, I think, was when Washington, after several reverses, retreated to Valley Forge, where he resolved to spend the winter of 1777. Ah! I have often seen the tears coursing down our dear commander's care-worn cheeks, as he would be conversing with a confidential officer about the condition of his poor soldiers. You have doubtless heard the story of Washington's going into the thicket to pray. Well, it was not only true, but he used often to pray in secret for aid and comfort from God, the interposition of whose Divine Providence brought us safely through the darkest days of tribulation.

"One day, I remember it well, the chilly winds whistled through the leafless trees, though the sky was cloudless and the sun shone brightly, he remained in his quarters nearly all the afternoon alone. When he came out, I noticed that his face was a shade paler than usual, and there seemed to be something on his mind of more than ordinary importance. Returning just after dusk, he dispatched an orderly to the quarters of the officer I mention, who was presently in attendance. After a preliminary conversation of about half an hour, Washington, gazing upon his companion with that strange look of dignity which he alone could command, said to the latter:

The Vision

"I do not know whether it is owing to the anxiety of my mind, or what, but this afternoon, as I was sitting at this table engaged in preparing a dispatch, something seemed to disturb me. Looking up, I beheld standing opposite me a singularly beautiful female. So astonished was I, for I had given strict orders not to be disturbed, that it was some moments before I found language to inquire into the cause of her presence. A second, a third, and even a fourth time did I repeat my question, but received no answer from my mysterious visitor except a slight raising of her eyes. By this time I felt strange sentiments spreading through me. I would have risen, but the riveted gaze of the being before me rendered volition impossible. I assayed once more to address her, but my tongue had become useless, even thought itself had become paralyzed. A new influence, mysterious, potent, irresistible, took possession of me. All I could do was to gaze steadily, vacantly at my unknown visitor. Gradually, the surrounding atmosphere seemed as though becoming filled with sensations and luminous. Everything about me seemed to rarify, the mysterious visitor herself becoming more airy, and yet more distinct to my sight than before. I now began to feel as one dying, or rather to experience the sensations which I have sometimes imagined accompany dissolution. I did not think, I did not reason, I did not move; all were alike impossible. I was only conscious of gazing fixedly, vacantly at my companion.

"Presently I heard a voice saying, 'Son of the Republic, look and learn,' while at the same time my visitor extended her arm eastwardly. I now beheld a heavy white vapor at some distance rising fold upon fold. This gradually dissipated, and I looked upon a strange scene. Before me lay spread out in one vast plain all the countries of the world -- Europe, Asia, Africa, and America. I saw rolling and tossing between Europe and America the billows of the Atlantic, and between Asia and America lay the Pacific. 'Son of the Republic,' said the same mysterious voice as before, 'look and learn.'

"At that moment I beheld a dark, shadowy being, like an angel floating in mid-air, between Europe and America, dipping water out of the ocean in the hollow of each hand. He sprinkled some upon America with his right hand, while with his left hand he cast some on Europe. Immediately a dark cloud raised from these countries and joined in mid-ocean. For a while it remained stationary, and then moved slowly westward, until it enveloped America in its murky folds. Sharp flashes of lightning passed through it at intervals, and I heard the smothered groans and cries of the American people.

"A second time the angel dipped water from the ocean, and sprinkled it out as before. The dark cloud was then drawn back to the ocean, in whose heaving billows it sank from view. A third time I heard the mysterious voice saying, 'Son of the Republic, look and learn.' I cast my eyes upon America and beheld villages and towns and cities springing up one after another until the whole land from the Atlantic to the Pacific was dotted with them. Again I heard the mysterious voice say, 'Son of the Republic, the end of the century cometh, look and learn.'

"At this the dark, shadowy angel turned his face southward, and from Africa I saw an ill-omened spectre approach our land. It flitted slowly over every town and city. The inhabitants presently set themselves in battle array against each other. As I continued looking, I saw a bright angel, on whose brow rested a crown of light, on which was traced the word "Union," bearing the American flag, which he placed between the divided nation, and said, 'Remember ye are brethren.' Instantly the inhabitants, casting from them their weapons, became friends once more and united around the National Standard.

"And again I heard the mysterious voice saying, 'Son of the Republic, look and learn.' At this the dark, shadowy angel placed a trumpet to his mouth and blew three distinct blasts; and taking water from the ocean, he sprinkled it upon Europe, Asia, and Africa. Then my eyes beheld a fearful scene: from each of these countries arose thick, black clouds that were joined into one. And throughout this mass there gleamed a dark red light by which I saw hordes of armed men, who, moving with the cloud, marched by land and sailed by sea to America, which country was enveloped in the volume of the cloud. And I dimly saw these vast armies devastate the whole country and burn the villages, towns, and cities that I beheld were springing up. As my ears listened to the thundering of the cannon, clashing of swords, and the shouts and cries of millions in mortal combat, I heard again the mysterious voice saying, 'Son of the Republic, look and learn.' When the voice had ceased, the dark, shadowy angel placed his trumpet once more to his mouth and blew a long and fearful blast.

"Instantly a light as of a thousand suns shone down from above me, and pierced and broke into fragments the dark cloud which enveloped America. At the same moment the angel, upon whose head still shone the word "Union," and who bore our national flag in one hand and a sword in the other, descended from the heavens, attended by legions of white spirits. These immediately joined the inhabitants of America, who I perceived were well-nigh overcome, but who immediately taking courage again, closed up their broken ranks and renewed the battle.

Again, amid the fearful noise of the conflict, I heard the mysterious voice saying, 'Son of the Republic, look and learn.' As the voice ceased, the shadowy angel for the last time dipped water from the ocean and sprinkled it upon America. Instantly the dark cloud rolled back, together with the armies it had brought, leaving the inhabitants of the land victorious.

"Then once more I beheld the villages, towns, and cities springing up where I had seen them before, while the bright angel, planting the azure standard he had brought in the midst of them, cried with a loud voice, 'While the stars remain, and the heavens send down dew upon the earth, so long shall the Union last.' And taking from his brow the crown on which was blazoned the word "Union," he placed it upon the Standard, while the people, kneeling down, said, 'Amen.'

"The scene instantly began to fade and dissolve, and I at last saw nothing but the rising, curling vapor I at first beheld. This also disappearing, I found myself once more gazing upon the mysterious visitor, who, in the same voice I had heard before, said, 'Son of the Republic, what you have seen is thus interpreted: Three great perils will come upon the Republic. The most fearful is the third, passing which the whole world united shall not prevail against her. Let every child of the Republic learn to live for his God, his land, and the Union.' With these words the vision vanished, and I started from my seat, and felt that I had seen a vision wherein had been shown me the birth, progress, and destiny of the United States."

"Such, my friends," concluded the venerable narrator, "were the words I heard from General Washington's own lips, and America will do well to profit by them."

Jack Hayford & Bill Hamon & Alice Smith

I personally heard Pastor Jack Hayford, one of the most respected Christian leaders of our generation, admit at a chapel service at CBN in Virginia Beach on May 4th, 2007, that the Lord had been speaking to him clearly for a year about God's coming judgment on America due to its sins. Pastor Jack also preached that the prayers of the Church could soften that judgment, but not necessarily do away with all of it.

Well-known prophetic leader and author, Bill Hamon, prophesied on April 29th, 2007 in Virginia Beach, that if America does not change within two years, God will bring the four main judgments of the Old Testament on America. [ They are: famine, disease, war and wild beasts]

Bob Fox: April 29th Word

"Thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: "Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons, And you shall commit to Me the work of My hands" (Isa 45:11 )

When I asked God about things to come concerning His sons, He seemed to say that the Church was about to enter a time of great difficulty and trials that would purge them, purify them and focus them on God's agenda. This would not be a matter of months but of years. I sensed this is part of the Lord's "severe mercy" to bring Hs Church into alignment with Him so that He can move us to the next level. The Church will go to the next level, but many of us will not enjoy the ride. We may not go there by choice, but by desperation.

As I thought about this, I sensed the Lord giving me the analogy of Marine boot camp at Quantico--something I have experienced. Boot camp is definitely a major transition to a higher level of functioning physically and emotionally. It prepares us to wield powerful weapons in real battles and win hard-fought victories. But few would say it is an enjoyable experience. It is difficult. It is a trial, but going through it helps us mature and it protects us in the battles to come. That's what is about to happen to the Church very soon, by analogy.

Prophecy given by Bob Fox on 1-2-06

I felt the Lord's leading to give this prophect given on 1-2-06. This word essentialy follows Isaiah 19, especially vs 3-25. I gave this word at the annual CBN New Year's Day prayer meeting in Virginia Beach. Giving public prophetic warnings was not something I normally did then, but the Lord had clearly impressed me with this message taken from Isaiah 19--a prophecy of judgement and revival for Egypt

Here is the word in summary form:

America is in trouble with God. He has seen their sin infect the nations via the media; he has seen the tens of millions of innocent babies aborted and the silence of the Church; He has seen whole denominations endorse homosexuality; He has seen rampant sin in every level of government and even in the Church; He has tried to draw us back to Himself in the 90’s but we would not have Him. Now, since 2000, he has decided to judge us as a nation and as a Church.

He will do this primarily through our economy. He knows that He cannot get our attention as a nation or as the America Church without touching our wallets.

He is unleashing our enemies against us. He has allows El Qaeda to have access to us. Unless the Lord guards the city, the US military stands watch in vain.

Diseases, plagues, droughts and storms and more will come until America and the Church repents fully for its sins and the sins of our ancestors in the founding of this great nation.

All of this will lead to revival in greater measure. A worldwide revival and harvest is coming that is greater than anyone has seen or could imagine. God’s “severe mercy” now—His remedial judgment on us to cleanse and heal us—will allow more souls to enter heaven and it will qualify America to play a larger role in the global revival to come.

Thus says the Lord!

Is 19 carries the pattern for this remedial judgment leading to national and international revival:

· God will bring confusion in the land. ( Is 19:3)

· Many people will turn to the occult for help initially. (v.3)

· Our enemies will have much control over us. (v.4)

· Our economy will dry up. (vs.5-10)

· Government leaders will act foolishly. God will give them a "spirit of stupidly". (vs.11-14)

· Fear will fill the land. (vs. 16-17)

· People will then cry out to God who will hear and send a Champion to deliver them. (vs.19-20)

· God will supernaturally reveal Himself to America. (v.21)

· God will strike America and then heal America so that America will return to Him. (v.22)

· Unprecedented collaboration among believers in many nations will bring great blessing to the earth! (vs.23-25)

Isa 19:1-25
(1) The oracle concerning Egypt. Behold, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud and is about to come to Egypt; The idols of Egypt will tremble at His presence, And the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them.
(2) "So I will incite Egyptians against Egyptians; And they will each fight against his brother and each against his neighbor, City against city and kingdom against kingdom.
(3) "Then the spirit of the Egyptians will be demoralized within them; And I will confound their strategy, So that they will resort to idols and ghosts of the dead And to mediums and spiritists.
(4) "Moreover, I will deliver the Egyptians into the hand of a cruel master, And a mighty king will rule over them," declares the Lord GOD of hosts.
(5) The waters from the sea will dry up, And the river will be parched and dry.
(6) The canals will emit a stench, The streams of Egypt will thin out and dry up; The reeds and rushes will rot away.
(7) The bulrushes by the Nile, by the edge of the Nile And all the sown fields by the Nile Will become dry, be driven away, and be no more.
(8) And the fishermen will lament, And all those who cast a line into the Nile will mourn, And those who spread nets on the waters will pine away.
(9) Moreover, the manufacturers of linen made from combed flax And the weavers of white cloth will be utterly dejected.
(10) And the pillars of Egypt will be crushed; All the hired laborers will be grieved in soul.
(11) The princes of Zoan are mere fools; The advice of Pharaoh's wisest advisers has become stupid. How can you men say to Pharaoh, "I am a son of the wise, a son of ancient kings"?
(12) Well then, where are your wise men? Please let them tell you, And let them understand what the LORD of hosts Has purposed against Egypt.
(13) The princes of Zoan have acted foolishly, The princes of Memphis are deluded; Those who are the cornerstone of her tribes Have led Egypt astray.
(14) The LORD has mixed within her a spirit of distortion; They have led Egypt astray in all that it does, As a drunken man staggers in his vomit.
(15) There will be no work for Egypt Which its head or tail, its palm branch or bulrush, may do.
(16) In that day the Egyptians will become like women, and they will tremble and be in dread because of the waving of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which He is going to wave over them.
(17) The land of Judah will become a terror to Egypt; everyone to whom it is mentioned will be in dread of it, because of the purpose of the LORD of hosts which He is purposing against them.
(18) In that day five cities in the land of Egypt will be speaking the language of Canaan and swearing allegiance to the LORD of hosts; one will be called the City of Destruction.
(19) In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD near its border.

(20) It will become a sign and a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the LORD because of oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Champion, and He will deliver them.

(21) Thus the LORD will make Himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the LORD in that day. They will even worship with sacrifice and offering, and will make a vow to the LORD and perform it.

(22) The LORD will strike Egypt, striking but healing; so they will return to the LORD, and He will respond to them and will heal them.

(23) In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrians will come into Egypt and the Egyptians into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians.

"Well, the other thing I felt was that evil men; evil people, are going to try to do evil things to us and to others during the last part of this year. I don't know whether it'll be in the fall or September or later on, but it'll be the second half, somehow, of 2007. There will be some very serious terrorist attacks. The evil people will come after this country.

It's going to happen. And I'm not saying necessarily nuclear. The Lord didn't say "nuclear," but I do believe it'll be something like that that'll be a mass killing, possibly millions of people, and major cities injured. I hope I'm wrong, and I hope people will pray and that won't happen. But nevertheless, that seems to be what's coming up."

For this to happen, desperate intercessors must prevail upon God to provoke within His people a deep and widespread dissatisfaction with the religious status-quo.

Such arguments are not new. Indeed they have attended the demise of nearly every revival, and many a civilization. America, given her present predicament, can ill afford a repeat of past mistakes. Rather, she needs godly shepherds who will refuse resolutely to downplay the urgency of the hour and the seriousness of the Church’s present condition. She requires committed prophets who will seize every opportunity to acknowledge with Ezekiel: “Our offenses and sins weigh us down, and we are wasting away because of them (Ezekiel 33:10).”

We have come to the point, both as a nation and as a Church, where we can no longer coast on the momentum of past deeds and choices. Our relationship with God has gone fallow, and it can only be restored through true repentance and unreserved obedience. As Scripture reminds us, ‘The righteousness of the righteous man will not save him when he disobeys (Ezekiel 33:12).””

Ann Graham Reflects on Why Did 9-11 Happen?

Ann Graham, Billy Graham's daughter, was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her "How could God let something like this happen?” ( regarding the attacks on Sept. 11).

Here is her extremely profound and insightful response. She said:

"I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives.
In light of recent events...terrorists attack, school shootings, etc.

I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK.

And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?"

Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school ... the Bible says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself.
And we said OK.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock's son committed suicide). We said an expert should know what he's talking about. And we said OK.

Then someone said teachers and principals better not discipline our children when they misbehave. The school administrators said no faculty member in this school better touch a student when they misbehave because we don't want any bad publicity, and we surely don't want to be sued (there's a big difference between disciplining, touching, beating, smacking, humiliating, kicking, etc..). And we said OK.

Then someone said, let's let our daughters have abortions if they want, and they won't even have to tell their parents. And we said OK.

Then some wise school board member said, since boys will be boys and they're going to do it anyway, let's give our sons all the condoms they want so they can have all the fun they desire, and we won't have to tell their parents they got them at school. And we said OK.

Then some of our top elected officials said it doesn't matter what we do in private as long as we do our jobs. Agreeing with them, we said it doesn't matter to me what anyone, including the President, does in private as long as I have a job and the economy is good.

Then someone said let's print magazines with pictures of nude women and call it wholesome, down-to-earth appreciation for the beauty of the female body. And we said OK.

And then someone else took that appreciation a step further and published pictures of nude children , then further again by making them available on the Internet. And we said OK, they're entitled to free speech.

Then the entertainment industry said, let's make TV shows and movies that promote profanity, violence, and illicit sex. Let's record music that encourages rape, drugs, murder, suicide, and satanic themes. And we said it's just entertainment, it has no adverse effect, nobody takes it seriously anyway, so go right ahead.

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with "WE REAP WHAT WE SOW."

them. Cut off the branches because they don't belong to the LORD.

The nations of Israel and Judah are unfaithful to me," declares the LORD.

They lie about the LORD and say, "He doesn't exist! Nothing bad will happen to us.

We won't experience war or famine. The prophets are nothing but windbags. The LORD hasn't spoken through them, so let what they say happen to them."

This is what the LORD God of Armies says: Because you've talked like this, I'm going

to put my words in your mouth like a fire. These people will be like wood. My words will burn them up.

I'm going to bring a nation from far away to attack you, declares the LORD. It is a

nation that has lasted a long time. It is an ancient nation. You don't know the language of this nation. You can't understand what its people say. Their arrow quivers are like open graves. They are all mighty warriors. They will devour your harvest and your food. They will devour your sons and your daughters. They will devour your flocks and your cattle. The invasion of war will happen and possibly North Korea, China or several of the Russian republics will resist us. (Like Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Soviet Georgia area)

Return to Jesus Christ! Renew the covenant of our forefathers who sought the Lord with all their heart, turned from their sin, shed their blood for freedom and walked in humility and love with one another and God. 2003 is the year of decision for our nation.

The heathen cannot intimidate the man or woman who is intimate with God. Draw close to Jesus and He will be your strength and comfort.

Stop trying to be politically correct. All of us need to stop it! ‘And, Mr. President, tell who you are! Please stop trying to be politically correct!’

We are in a battle of worship. Satan wants us to worship at his altar of self, money, reputation, glory and careers – and the Lord wants us to worship him in purity, truth, holiness, love and forbearance! THE BATTLE IS WHOM WILL WE WORSHIP!

My people, listen to my words. Listen closely.

The days will I shorten as no man will be able to bear her pain. But I call my people to come out of her (Revelation 18). Come out now as time is advancing. Stop your partying. The time is ticking away.

Vision

As I looked up towards the heaven’s I saw the glory coming down like golden liquid honey, which spread out all over the city. This golden liquid covered everything in its path…buildings, cars, people… The Lord said this is the glory in the form of golden liquid honey, which lines the streets of heaven being poured out into the earth. (It has healing power).

In the days of old, the glory filled the temple. Today my glory will fill the earth. When the glory fills the earth, evil cannot exist.

New Years Day 2003: A Year of Harvest and Judgment

“Jesus, Son of God, Savior of the world, have mercy on us”

This is the prayer I found myself praying on Christmas morning as I walked toward the lake near our home. A few years ago, as I was riding in my car, I began to feel God’s sadness for America. God has blessed America enormously, but His heart was sad for America now. As Is. 28:21 -22 says, “For God will rise up as in Mount Perazim… that he may do his work, his strange work, and bring to pass his act, his strange act. Now therefore be ye not scoffers, lest your bonds be made strong; for a decree of destruction have I heard from the Lord, God of hosts, upon the whole earth.” C.S. Lewis called God’s “strange work” on His people a “severe mercy.”

He has to judge America, although He is loathe to do it. God loves America deeply, just as He loved His own nation, Israel, in the Bible. Yet, He judged them severely. That’s His pattern: “For those whom the Lord loves, He disciplines and scourges every son whom He receives” so that we can later “share in His holiness….the peaceful fruit of righteousness.”(Heb 12:5-11). God judges to cleanse and restore for greater blessings. God still has great plans for America.

We now live, I believe, in a time of the ascendancy of evil. The “rise of Mordor” is all around us, to use an allusion from Lord of the Rings. Just as “The Lord raised up adversaries to Solomon…”(1Kg. 11:14) when he went astray from God, so is God raising up adversaries to America because of our sins. When the Jewish king made a foolish decision that led to civil war in Israel, “it was a turn of events from the Lord…” (1Kg 12:15). God sometimes uses evil people for His purposes. At other times, God allows people to become more depraved to prepare them for judgment.

When men desire to do evil strongly enough, God sometimes gives them over to evil. Such people become “futile in their speculations and their foolish heart was darkened…God gave them over…to impurity…to a depraved mind” (Rom. 1:21-28). 20 Moslems terrorized us on one day in September 2001, but hundreds of our Christian clergy have been sexually terrorizing children day after day for decades—often with the evil collusion of their superiors. Darkened minds are a form of God’s judgment, also.

What does this mean for 2003?

The Possibility of War with Iraq

This war is a trap. It will be devastating to us and them. This war will possibly come to our shores. If we attack Iraq first, they would be justified in using weapons of mass destruction in our county in defense. This war would split the Islamic coalition against terrorism and cost our nation billions we need to spend on other things. This war may be set by God to humble discipline America more. It can be averted if America prays. Why doesn't the Church call for a national day of Prayer and Fasting on this issue? Why doesn’t the Church pray every Sunday for a peaceful resolution and the salvation of President Hussain?

The Decline of America

You will never get America’s attention until you touch it’s wallet, someone has said. God is touching our wealth. America may have lost 6 trillion dollars in stock value since 9/11, our state governments are out of money for many basic needs. Some states are releasing prisoners early because they can’t afford to keep them in jail at @15,000/yr per person. Medicaid is in trouble in many states. Large businesses are going under due to dishonest leaders. God is incrementally withdrawing His blessings and protection on America in order to get America to turn back to Him and to awaken a sleeping Church to it rightful place as the restorer of the nation. All this is in preparation for a global awakening to come and for the most massive harvest of souls ever seen on earth.

Harvest and Judgment

In this morning’s prayer meeting at CBN, Pat Robertson reported what the Lord told him as he sought God for guidance about the coming year. Pat mentioned the harvest God is already releasing worldwide. CBN had 38 million decisions for Jesus in 2002 alone! 240 million people around the world saw its broadcasts of the Gospel in 201 countries. They put in 1100 wells for water in other nations where water is scarce. They treated 203,000 people through their medical clinics in other nations. They were broadcasting the Gospel even in the Ivory Coast during the war their. This past Christmas, one of Mexico’s largest TV networks showed the CBN Gospel video Superbook every day on TV over the Christmas season. Doors will soon open in China and Thailand, the Lord told Pat. The harvest is upon us overseas!

Pat also specifically confirmed the two things mentioned above: that the war in Iraq would be a disaster and that God is slowly judging America—first financially and then militarily in order to restore America to Him. He said that it was the righteous remnant in America that was holding back the greater judgment in America. He also said that that righteous remnant would be protected in the judgments to come. The angel of death would pass over us who are covered by the Blood of the Lamb—just as in the first Passover in Egypt (Ex. 12).

Dear Brothers and Sisters, please judge these words for yourself. Ask God for insight about what He is doing and how you should respond. Clearly, the year to come will not be business as usual. It is a somber yet joyful year: a year of judgment and of harvest.

Many will suffer because of the adversity that is coming from many quarters. Many will turn to God for the same reasons.

A year when the needs of the needs of others here and around the world will increase.
Old ways of doing Church will soon not be adequate for dealing with the needs of our people, of our community and of our world. For about 10 years God tried to get His Body to come together willingly out of love for Him. Now we will see that “circling the wagons” and cooperating with other pastors and ministries will be more and more necessary as the discipline of God continues to increase on America. Just as in the Lord of the Rings movie, The Two Towers, victory over advancing evil will only come to those who band together to resist evil as never before.
Please be reconciled with one another. Please seek to pray and work together will all Christians and God-fearing people in your city.
Please pray that you may be ready for the harvest and for the judgments to come upon our land. Seek Him earnestly each day in prayer and worship, be quick to obey, humble yourself in every area of life and love and love your neighbor and the brethren zealously. Then God will protect and guide you through the judgments to come.
Remember the words of the prophet Habbakuk to God’s people as God was about to judge them:

“LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day,

in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.” (3:2 NIV emphasis mine)

and the words of God in James: “mercy triumphs over judgment” (Jas 2:13).

Mike Bickle Warns of God's Judgment on America

Mike Bickle, the leader of the IHOP (International House of Prayer (www.IHOP.org)) in Kansas City, MO was awakened at 2am on 9/8/05 and saw an angel.

It is only the third time in thirty years this has happened to him and he is very cautious about overstating experiences. He saw the angel putting a silver trumpet up to it's lips, preparing to blow. The angel did not blow the trumpet. . Mike saw this three times in a row, identical each time. (See: Numbers 10). Mike went to the prayer room and the Lord began leading him to scriptures and unpacking some of the meaning of this visitation.

Bickle then began to teach what the Lord had shown him in the prayer room. He said that the Lord had decreed judgement on America. The judgement has not been released into action yet. Like an email that has been written but not yet sent. It's time for God's people to cry out for mercy for our land. It is a time for repentance.

New Orleans/Mississippi is a wake up call for our nation. Bickle said to call a sacred assembly and cry out to God for mercy for our land. Intercede and ask Him to lessen the decree of judgement. Corporate worship and prayer is our best offensive and defensive weapon.

America at the Crossroads: Judgment or Full Revival?
A Prophecy Concerning America

at 2:30 a.m., April 17, 1997

Tell America that My judgment has been pronounced upon it for the same root sins as Sodom: they were "arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy" (Ezek. 16:49). These root sins have resulted in such fruit sins as:

1. The sin of selling your youth as slaves to Babylon; caring only about yourselves and right now, and sacrificing their future to your present.

2. The sin of sacrificing the unborn to Molech upon the altars of convenience and greed.

3. The sin of prostitution: losing all sense of shame and loving immorality to the point of packaging it through your media, and making it one of your major national products. You have pumped it throughout the earth, almost like a water filtration plant that decided it would pump out sewage rather than clean water. You have determined to not only defile your own land, but to pollute and defile the rest of the earth with your abominable immorality.

4. The sin of greed: grinding the faces of the poor under the heels of your shoes, snuffing out their dim light as a man would snuff out a cigarette butt.

Tell America that because of such root sins and such fruit sins, judgment is coming as soon as they finish filling that bowl to the point of over-flowing, and it is very close to that point.

BUT, in My great compassion, I am giving one last chance to America to turn from her love for sin, and lack of the fear of the Lord. This last chance is in the form of a national revival and spiritual awakening.

If their turning is complete, there is the hope that I will relent of this judgment, for there is yet one thing in your favor: the spirit of generosity in a small remnant to give of themselves to take My gospel to the nations. If there is a true, wide-spread, and deep turning, allowing me to pull out roots, and not only fruits, I will relent of the judgment and destruction that I had planned for America.

But if the turning is partial, if the awakening is just to a state of drowsiness, only to turn over and go back to sleep again, to return like a dog to its vomit, then I must be consistent with My judgment pronounced upon Sodom, and allow the fire of war to cleanse the spirit of defilement from the land.

I sent revival in the late 1850's to give America the opportunity to totally turn from the same roots of pride, arrogance and greed, and the fruit sin of slavery. There was an awakening, but only to a state of drowsiness, not one allowing Me to go to the roots. Therefore, rather than that revival leading to the full turning that would have allowed Me to withhold the cup of judgment, it could only serve a lesser purpose: That revival strengthened the remnant to be able to stand as I , with a broken heart, poured out the overflowing cup of judgment in the fires of the Civil War.

Even now, as I pour out revival, if you are satisfied with only enough to fill your churches, and then turn over to go back into your comfortable sleep again; if you do not seek Me to reveal and pull out the deep and strong roots of evil, then, with great sorrow of heart, I will be forced to remove Your candlestick and send such economic disaster, that your remnant will no longer be the oil supply feeding the lamp of missions that they have been for so long. I have already raised up other candlesticks, and I will divert the oil of My resources to those that are awake to Me and My purposes at the end of the Age. I do not need America to accomplish My end-time purposes. I own the earth, and all of it's fullness, and I am fully able to resource My work.

If this revival does not lead to a full turning to Me and seeking Me to pull out the evil roots and heal the land, then, in great sorrow, I will be forced to allow the over-flowing bowl of judgment to be poured out in the fires of war in order to cleanse by fire the defilement of the land. But the partial revival will have served to strengthen the remnant to be able to stand during this awful baptism of fire.

But the land will be cleansed of its defilement by a fire far greater and more destructive than the flames of the Civil War. The land will no longer be able to export such floods of filth and defilement to the nations, but will be burnt over; and dark, heavy clouds will rest upon it in darkness and desolation, and it will be only a faint shadow of the great land it once was.

But I am the Almighty. I will resource My great work of bringing the knowledge of My glory to the ends of the earth, with or without America playing the major role I had offered to it. The choice is before her. The choice is before My church in America.

Therefore, seek Me while I may be found, and call upon Me while I am near.

New Orleans: Cleansed by God

Many may not agree, but I see the hand of God in what Katrina has done to New Orleans, to America and to the Church in America.

If I had any doubts about why God needed to judge New Orleans, it was soon drowned by the testimony of people who lived there that I talked to in the hotel we stayed in recently in Houston.

Fierce violence, widespread corruption, intense occult activity and gross immorality--New Orelans had feew rivals in the modeern world. One resident told me that the entire economy was built around Mardi Gras-one of the vilest public events in America each year that tens of thousands flock to from all over the world.

"New Orleans City Council President Oliver Thomas after witnessing the horrors first hand and hearing talk of Sodom and Gomorrah commented, "Maybe God's going to cleanse us."

"The Sept. 4 New York Daily News reported "Louisiana and New Orleans have a long, well-known reputation for corruption... Adjusted for population size, the state ranks third in the number of elected officials convicted of crimes (Mississippi is No. 1). Recent scandals include the conviction of 14 state judges and an FBI raid on the business and personal files of a Louisiana congressman." One former governor from the 1990's recently completed a prison term for tax fraud and the one that followed him, reports the Daily New, "is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for taking bribes from casino owners".

The Daily News goes on to note that in the 1990s the New Orleans Police Department "had the dubious distinction of being the nation's most corrupt police force and the least effective: the city had the highest murder rate in America. Then in Alexandria that night Chuck shared from Song of Solomon 4:16 (Awake the north wind; come, o south wind. Blow upon the garden of this nation). He led the people to pray for the south wind to come. This south wind would be a purifying wind, cause corruption to be blown on and cause corruption to shake and initiate a righteous move starting with the children, then moving to the youth. The following is an excerpt from the beginning of David Wilkerson's 1985 book Set the Trumpet to Thy Mouth. David Wilkerson heads World Challenge, Inc., P. O. Box 260, Lindale, TX 75771. His book is available at their website for $3.00. David writes:

"America is going to be destroyed by fire! Sudden destruction is coming and few will escape. Unexpectedly, and in one hour, a hydrogen holocaust will engulf America -- and this nation will be no more.

"America has sinned against the greatest light. Other nations are just as sinful, but none are as flooded with gospel light as ours. God is going to judge America for its violence, its crimes, its backsliding, its murdering of millions of babies, its flaunting of homosexuality and sadomasochism, its corruption, its drunkenness and drug abuse, its form of godliness without power, its lukewarmness toward Christ, its rampant divorce and adultery, its lewd pornography, its child molestations, its cheatings, its robbings, its dirty movies, and its occult practices.

Later in the chapter-- an attack from Russia, and "The great holocaust follows an economic collapse in America. The enemy will make its move when we are weak and helpless... America will not Repent... God promised to preserve America only if it turned from its evil... This nation has not repented but has turned its back... I see Almighty God even now slowly turning His back on this nation."

1973 book, The Vision by David Wilkerson predicts Judgment on America

In 1973, Wilkerson published a book called The Vision that detailed his prophetic visions regarding the future of the United States. Wilkerson believed that God had revealed to him a great calamity which was going to befall America due to increase in sins such as homosexuality, sexual promiscuity, and greed.

Some of the details of this 1973 vision were: There is a coming worldwide economic confusion. It will strike Europe, Japan and the US, then all other nations. There are lean years ahead. There will be a move toward a worldwide, unified monetary system. (This was years before the Euro -- every European nation had its own system).

Floods, hurricanes and tornadoes will increase in frequency.

There will be a fall in moral conduct. Topless women will appear on television, followed by full nudity (something that had never been done in 1973) Adult, X rated movies will be shown on cable television.

There will be an acceptance of homosexuality, and the church will even say that it is a God-given gift. (Homosexuality was still studied under "abnormal psychology" by psychologists of 1973).

There will be a new drug that will be popular with teenagers that will break down resistance and will encourage sexual activity.

Homosexual and lesbian ministers will be ordained and this will be heralded as a new breed of pioneer.

There will be a spiritual awakening behind the Iron and Bamboo Curtains.

He also predicted a nuclear bomb going off in New York City.

34 years later, many of his prophecies in this book have come true.

Pray for our Enemies to Know Jesus: Jesus commanded us to pray for our enemies--to even love them and serve them if they need help. Pray specifically for God to supernaturally reveal Himself to the leaders of Al Quaida--just as he is to thousands of other Muslims arcoss the word through dreams and visions! Churches should be praying for our enemies every Sunday! God will be honored by our obedience and few things will stop our attackers as much as their salvation in Jesus!

Commit Yourself to Forgive Now: Don't wait until you suffer great loss before you learn to forgive those responsible. Great losses may come to many. Decide now to obey God's commands to forgive all who offend us and avoid the sins of bitterness and resentment no matter what happens. We have no choice but to forgive--even forgive our enemies. That obedience will release God's blessings and vindicaiton on us.

Fully Surrender Your Lives, Family and Property to God: Only God can protect us ( Ps. 127:1), everything we have is from Him and He may choose to allow us to lose some of what we have for purposes we may not understand. Remember Job. Choose now not to allow worry, anxiety or anger weaken your faith or trust in God. "The Lord gives and the Lord takes. Blessed be the Name of the Lord", as Job prayed after losing everything, with God's permission. Choose now to be satisfied in Him--even if you lose everything.
